BGB Introduction to Board Governing Basics

Introduction

     Welcome to Board Governing Basics and congratulations on your willingness to take this training course to learn about Federally Qualified Health Centers and Board Governance.  When you complete this training course you will have the knowledge that is required to serve your local Community Health Center in a positive and productive way.

     This training is conveniently designed to allow the student to work through the course at their own pace.   The course consists of 24 Lessons and 8 quizzes along the way to reinforce the information presented in each lesson. A Final Exam will complete the training.  Don’t worry, there are no trick or “gotcha” questions.  All quizzes and final exam questions are in multiple choice or true-false format.  Remember, this course is about learning and reinforcing what you learn. 

     Each lesson is available in both text and a short video.  We recommend that you use both in your study.  All of the information, in every lesson, is relevant and important to know.  It is presented with clarity in bullet points and short sentences that are straightforward and to the point.
