Ideal Board Member – Introduction
A Community Health Center Board is a dedicated group of individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the healthcare needs of their community. Board service is voluntary and demands a considerable amount of time and effort on a regular basis. However, most Board members who serve, agree that it is one of the most rewarding and worthwhile experiences in their personal and professional lives.
If you are a newly elected or existing board member; or interested in becoming a board member for your local Health Center, this course is for you! It will clearly define the leadership qualities Community Health Centers expect from their Board members.
